The Phoenixville Regional Comprehensive Plan establishes regional policy for agricultural and open space preservation, cultural resources, multi-modal transportation, housing, economic development, historic preservation and tourism, environmental management and protection, and growth management.

This document is unique in its promotion of consensus implementation approaches that will uphold and improve the exceptionally high quality of life in a culturally and environmentally diverse region, with land use patterns that range from rural to urban and with an uncommon richness in historic landscapes and resources.
